Life provides so many opportunities to feel cheerful. Being in high spirits throughout the day brings me feelings of contentment and calm. And when I feel joyful, I feel stronger. Sometimes, a simple moment of solitude brings peace to my heart.
Experiencing joy each day has a wonderful effect on my psyche and my physical well-being. This is part of the reason I seek to cultivate happiness in my life.
From the time I wake up in the morning until I rest for the night, I rehearse the countless sources of joy. And then when I awake in the morning I feel the sun shining on my face and I smile. I am grateful for being smothered by gifts of this world. At the end of the day I treasure the time I spend with my loved ones, it simply lights up my heart.
I find it easy to discover joy in practically everything. Even the smallest things fill my soul with happiness and a sense of well-being. I love to listen to stories on the radio of good samaritan saving live of a stranger. I choose to tune in the radio to the station I like to listen, I turn of the news that creates stress.
Regardless of whether I am at work or at home, alone or with people, I pay attention to all the joys that life provides.
Today, I feel blessed to notice the little things in life that make me happy. I intend to keep my eyes, mind, and heart open to all the beauty that surrounds me each day. I choose to be present and never miss another beautiful moment in my life.
